What are we on about then?

Proud to announce that reproduction Furniture of Yeovil has been commissioned to build a grand table for a national site of interest in England. It is an honour to be chosen to build a reproduction of this Astonishing period style table that is over 60 feet in length.

We are currently in the first stages of the build process and the whole team is eagerly watching the progress on this fantastic project. The original table that our reproduction will replace was built somewhere in England in the early 18th Century and has been the centre of attention of many a dinners with important people and key moments in England’s history.

The table itself shall remain a mystery as will its future home until completion. Check back soon and keep an eye on our blog for all the latest on this bespoke grand reproduction of the HUGE Table at which a past Prime Minister sat at many times.

Work has begun!

The first steps have been taken on this fantastic project, and although there a few more to take along the journey of a 60ft long table, its a great start. This project is a great way to show off our traditional methods that date back to the early 18th century, and also means our reproduction will be made in a way not far off how the original was made, with the exception of slightly more modern tooling!

Stay tuned for some great images of this table in its progress and eventually taking the shape of its predecessor. Here are some pictures of, well bits and pieces so far but good looking parts nonetheless.

Who's getting the job done?

Our dedicated team are really enjoying the opportunity to work on a bespoke design on such a grand scale. See the table take their colour as one by one the team takes their time in getting every piece perfect. The pieces here and there are mounting up, only a matter of time before they start to become one grand table.
